There were two, one on Nagasaki and the other on Hiroshima.
So far in human history only Hiroshima and Nagasaki were ever bombed by a atom bomb.
The atomic bomb has only been used twice, and that was against Japan during World War II. the first bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, killing over 30,000 people, and three days later, another bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, killing about 40,000 people. The Japanese surrendered the day after the 2nd bomb was dropped.
They surrendered to the U.S. But only after the second bomb!
B for what? I only remembered the atom bomb test called "Trintity" or sort of.
The only use of the Atomic Bomb was during World War 2. The US dropped two of them on Japan. This force a surrender and eliminated the need for an armed invasion.
They dropped the bomb on Hiroshima because they had to stop Japan some how. This effectively stopped the war, but caused more then intended damage to people. Supposedly it was also done as a threat to not only Japan but for Soviet Russia.
The only elephant in the Berlin zoo.
bohr
No, there were only two bombs.
They were the only cities where an atomic bomb was dropped over.
The H-Bomb, or Hydrogen Bomb, has never been used in warfare- the bombs dropped on japan at the end of WW2 were ATOMIC bombs, which are not as destructive. The Hydrogen Bomb is very much more powerful than the atom bomb, and has only ever been exploded in tests. For full information, Google 'US Hydrogen Bomb' and see what comes up.
