Sorry, I can't answer but the same thing seems to have happened to me. I'm 62 years old and have always needed glasses to see far. Now, all of a sudden, I ca see far clearly. This question makes no sense. It is the shape of specifric parts of the eyes that determines far or near sightedness.
Farsighted people use convex lenses to correct their vision.(This is the correct answer!)
