The Nissan Skyline GTR was never manufactured outside of Japan. The Skyline GTR was mainly exported to the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland and Canada.
Outside of Japan it may be difficult to find one, but due to the popularity of the Nissan Skyline in video games many countries are allowing them to be imported. Those who do not reside in Japan should check with a car deal inside of Japan that is willing to import skyline's into their country.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R sports car was produced from 1969 to 1973, and again from 1989 to 2002. The Skyline GT-R was only ever manufactured in Japan, and was exported to Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.

Please use facts and don't always trust everyone you know. Skyline is how Japan badges their GTR. So in America, it's the 370Z and GTR. In Japan, it's the Fairlady Z Z34 and GTR R35 Skyline.
