Yes, according to structural engineers, the Titanic was doomed as soon as it set sail. Of course, the iceberg it hit had a lot to do with the ship going down but the ship also had a weak structure to begin with.
History's Mysteries - 1998 Doomed Sisters of the Titanic 2-2 was released on: USA: October 1999
390904 I believe, shipyard workers thought the titanic was "doomed" because it spelled NO POPE backwards...
After Titanic sank, those that were left were 712 people who made it into boats (and lived) and many more doomed people in the water.

The iceberg that scraped Titanic was likely doomed. It was too far south to last any more than a few days.
At 11:40 P.M. April 14th, 1912, the Titanic sideswifed an Iceberg and the collision woke some of the passengers. Some of them throught the Titanic had hit a smaller vessel. But the Captain had a more serious outlook on the Titanic's fate. Thomas Andrews knew from the moment that he heard the Titanic hit the Iceberg to the sinking that he's ship was doomed.
RMS Titanic was doomed because too much water was breaching through in too many places, forcing her to tip forward, permitting more water to enter,
Shifting the titanic from the course to avoid colition, doomed it. The iceberg from the side was not the same that taking from the front. Repairs would be made, but it would not sunk and eveyone would be alive back them.
wwell titanic had 16 water tight compartments if it cut 2 and 5 filled up it could stay afloat and be rescued and toed back to southhampton shipyard to be mended but the iceberg cut in 5 compartments so the titanic was doomed
The main problem was: The Titanic could stay afloat indefinitely with two of it's consecutive watertight compartments flooded simultaneously - but no more than that. The iceberg ripped four consecutive compartments open, and the Titanic was doomed at that moment, as the designer, who was on the cruise, admitted to the captain shortly after the collision.
No, I am not doomed to be unhappy.
