The Holy Grail
THE HOLY GRAIL.
Indiana Jones is trying to find the holy grail. Indiana Jones is trying to find the holy grail.
The Holy Grail and his father
He finds, the one and only, Holy Grail.
What I ascertained from the fact based documentary, "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" was that the Holy Grail enabled a Templar knight to slow the ageing process to a near crawl... It also completely healed a gunshot wound when water held inside the cup was poured directly onto the wound.

both dr jones drank from the holy grail so both became immortal.
Water drunk from the Holy Grail only grants immortality while the person is in the cave with the Holy Grail. After the person leaves that cave, the immortality is lost.
The truce between Richard the Lion-Hearted and Saladin did not last so Pope Innocent III launched the 4th crusade.
He was the Grail Knight, the only knight able to sit in the Siege Perilous, a seat at the Round Table where only one knight could sit or they would die. He was pure, courageous, chivalrous, courteous, gentle and kind. He was the son of Elaine of Corbenic and Lancelot, and was the only Knight able to drink from the Holy Grail, the cup that Jesus supposedly drank from at the Last Supper.
Because the truce between Richard and Saladin did not last, so the Fourth Crusade happened.
