VERY EFFECTIVE! The United Kingdom was almost bombed into submission during what is called "The Blitz" which was over 50 nights of constant Bombing by the Luftwaffe, Industry, Infrastructure and Civilian populations where all targets. Prior to the blitz there was still raids on the United Kingdom but not as much as during the Blitz. During the Blitzkrieg movements into France and Russia the third Reich used the Luftwaffe to deadly effect destroying resupply lines, airfields, reinforcements and defence positions.
