It is uncertain whether or not the war described in Revelation 12 has already occurred or is still future. But obviously something has already happened in the past (most likely after Adam and Eve's creation [Ezekial 28:15]) that caused Satan to become who he is and has been all these thousands of years.
In Revelations 12:7-9 it says "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
These good angels are messengers of the Lord, and are spoken of in the epistle to the Hebrews as "ministering spirits" (Heb. 1:14). The scriptures also speak of the devil's angels. These are those spirits who followed Lucifer and were thrust out in the war in heaven and cast down to the earth. Rev. 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
In Christian tradition, Satan is believed to have represented evil or temptation at the Lord's council before being cast out of heaven for rebelling against God. This event is commonly referred to as the War in Heaven.
He aspired to have a throne for himself set above the throne of God, and convinced one third of the heavenly host (the angels) to rebel with him and declared war on God. When he lost he was thrown out of heaven.
he can't *** fptliny continues Rev 12:7-9 + Jude 8 speak of "war in heaven" Cast out, the devil [Lucifer] has the power only to "tempt" us... we have the free will (cf: Jude) to decide which path to follow. * * *
That is the only one recorded, though since that happening Satan has always waged war against heaven and the people of God. His final battle will be when the Lord has finished His work towards the latter part of the Millennium, when Satan will be loosed for a short while to try one last time to destroy the work of God.
In Doodle Devil, you can make 'War' by combining 'Politician' and 'Pride.'
Satan and the "one-third" of God's created angels who followed him in his rebellion against God's Government were "cast back to earth" from whence they launched their attack."...the great Dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: HE WAS CAST OUT [of heaven] INTO THE EARTH, and HIS ANGELS WERE CAST OUT WITH HIM." (Rev.12:9)Jesus Christ [the Almighty Creator God of the Old Testament - John 1:3 & 10] says: "...I beheld Satan as lightning FALL FROM HEAVEN." (Luke 10:18)Jesus was there. He saw it... and is an eye-witness to it.
Satan, or the devil, got kicked out of heaven by Michael the archangel as a result of a war in heaven. The devil wanted to force or compel everybody to be obedient and wanted to have God's glory for himself. Jesus disagreed, saying the glory was the Father's. When his plan was rejected, Satan was angry and rebelled. Him and his followers ended up on Earth without the privilege of getting a physical body and being in a family, but remain in spirit form tempting us to do wrong and advocating all forms of evil. For his choices Satan receives no reward and will remain in a domain of darkness.

Yes, the conflict in heaven was definately real.....it all started when Lucifer(satan now) decided that he was jealous because Jesus was God's son and he wasn't. So he went around trying to convince the other angels that God was not fair(which of course was a straight up lie!) and one third of the billions of angels of heaven agreed with him. when lucifer voiced his complaint to God, God gave him a fair chance to see who was really supposed to be God. There was real actual war in heaven between God, Jesus and his angels and the devil and his angels. The devil and his angels lost, got kicked to earth, and they've been here ever since. Not to worry: if you follow God, he will take you to heaven when he comes and the devil will get burned on that day too.
