A few years ago (or maybe it was last year?) the fault line produced an earthquake that they felt in Chicago (and that was a small earthquake), but back in the 1800's there was a huge series of earthquakes from there that reached parts of Oklahoma. Although not under any direct threat, Oaklahoma can expericence earthquakes.
