Unless I missed a scripture (and I could have)... I don't know of any specifics as to what God and His angels were doing. But, the biblical evidence is that there was joy throughout the universe when God first created the universe and the angels... until war broke out.
In testing Job, God inquired of him regarding the "foundations of the earth"... the beginnings of creation... and made this comment:
"...Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?... Who marked off its dimensions?... Who stretched a measuring line across it... WHILE THE MORNING STARS SANG TOGETHER AND ALL THE ANGELS SHOUTED FOR JOY?" (Job 38:4-7)
Before Adam and Eve there was universal joy and happiness.
Even Lucifer, the archangel, was well-behaved, as attested to by Ezekiel.
Although Ezekiel was inspired to address this passage to the "king of Tyre"... it's quite evident that the king was never in the Garden of Eden, nor was he a "cherub." Yet, the king evidently harbored enough devilish traits to rate comparison to Satan:
"...You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emerald, chrysolite, onyx and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.
"...Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, O guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth..." (Ezek.28:12-17 NIV).
So, unless I missed something, according to God's Word... all was perfection in the universe before the creation of Adam and Eve. Joy and happiness reigned, until Lucifer corrupted himself, convinced the angels under his command to join him... and "war broke out" (Rev.12:7-9 NIV).
How long this happiness lasted is anyone's guess. But before Adam and Eve, the universe knew both joy and war.

-if you say yes then: the earth was already there was already life, not human life but life (dinosaurs) , and then a planet in space burst and fell on earth so the dinosaurs died out , then very soon after life came but nobody not even a famous scientist or life itself can explain why or how life came on earth after the dinosaurs.
if you say no- then god did make the world . he was alive way before earth and space and even the galaxy and then he got tied and wanted to watch a kingdom of his own group and grow old so he created a world.....

This answer is right but there was a period of time between verse 1 and 2 of Geneses 1. It is called the gap theory. When Satan rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven and into the atmospheric heavens.

∙ 9y agoYes, many experts in Hebrew have carefully examined the texts in both the first and second creation stories of Genesis and say the biblical stories do not describe creation as ex nihilo.
In the first creation account (Genesis 1:!-2:4a) there was a pre-existing watery chaos. The ocean was already present and of 2:4) a wind moved across the surface. The seas rested on the dry land, which appeared on day 3.
The second creation account (Genesis 2:4b to 2:20) says that there was pre-existing dry land, but God had yet to make it rain for plants to grow.
