Every high street had its Travel Agent for holiday bookings such as Thomas Cook or Lunn Poly, formed in 1965. The number of holiday destinations was limited proportionally to the number of countries visited by national airlines like BOAC.

Yes, according the the Guam history books there was tourism in the island in the 1960s. Actually, this is the year that tourism started. The first tourists were Australians who came in by ship and next were the Japanese who came in by plane.
