(1) Check to see if the fuse is blown, if not . . . (2) Activate the washer control and listen to see if the underhood pump motor runs, if not . . . (3) the motor may be burned out [I just recently had to replace the one in my 2000 because this happened]. (4) If motor runs but no water sprays... the spray heads may be clogged. Disconnect the rubber hoses from the spray heads and blow compressed air backwards into the spray heads to see if you can clear any obstructions - re-attach the rubber hoses and try again. (5) If none of this work the pump mechanism (which is driven by the electric motor) may be worn out. Good luck.
need windshield washer motor
Probably not. The washer pump is usually on or in the washer fluid reservoir.
It may be that the pump has quit. Have someone get in the vehicle and hit the washer and listen at the bottle for the pump motor to work. If nothing, replace pump motor.
The rear washer gets its fluid from the same reservoir located in the engine compartment, it is simply piped to the rear via a long hose. If the rear washer doesn't work there are three possibilities: the tube is blocked - the spray head is obstructed with crud - or the rear pump has failed. I have a 2000 and just recentlymy windshield washer pump failed.
The windshield washer pump on a 2002 Camry might have quit working because of a hole in a vacuum line. Also, inspect the washer fluid tank for leaks and check the pump and pump fuse.
If a washer pump was replaced on a Jeep Wrangler and is still not working the fuses should be checked. The washer switch should also be checked as it could also be causing the pump not to work.
If you don't hear it running when you press the washer button the motor is probably burnt out.
There is a pump motor in the bottom of the washer bottle that pushes the fluid. Check to see if it might be dead.
NO....if Fuel pump doesnt sent fuel to engine...engine cannot combust...
The hoses on the washer fluid pump motor are in the wrong locations. On the bottom of the washer fluid bottle, there is a pump. Swap the rubber hoses and it should work properly.
Blown fuse, defective fuel pump relay, or the pump itself is defective.
Yes, and it's the same fuse that's used for your wipers. So, if your wipers still work, but the washer fluid pump doesn't, there's likely a problem with the pump and not the fuse.
