A Cracked cylinder head, or engine block. Or a blown cylinder head gasket.
As with any car, low coolant will cause this car to overheat. Common areas of coolant lose are the water pump or intake manifold gaskets. If the coolant is full, then another common problem is blown headgaskets- especially the rear head. A blown headgasket introduced compression into the cooling system causing air pocket / bubbles. This will cause an overheat.- TechJK -----------------------------------------------------------
check the water pump
No it is not. It could be a problem with the radiator, a radiator hose or a water pump. In any situation, it could cause the motor to overheat and damage it severely.
The engine will overheat.
It willl overheat when it gets low on coolant.
You probaby have a blown head gasket, cracked head or both. Try doing a compression test.
I have the same problem and I think that I have found out that the radiator is too small for the size of the truck.
If the electric cooling fan(s) are not coming on that may be the problem.
Sounds like the cooling hose clogged so cooling water wasn't flowing through the outboard, causing the engine to overheat. Some engines have an overheat alarm for this, but probably not a 6 HP.
Water is used to cool things down.
it depends the next time they drink water
The car may overheat!
