A false alarm is against the law and you will be arrested. Those are two very good reasons.
When an alarm is started, many people rush into action, creating hazards for everyone. A large percentage of firefighter deaths and injuries occur on the way to an alarm, even if it's a false alarm.
The person starting a false alarm can be held responsible for everything that occurs due to their actions.

the alarm is below the steering column but you have to remove the trim and after you do you will see 2 boxes attached together the first box is clear plastic and the other box is like a gold color or vise versa but either way unplug both boxes and that will shut alarm off
