I don't have the answer to your question, but am curious how the cabinets are holding up, were you happy with the finish, what finish of Aura did you use? I've painted some walls with Aura and was blown away by its performance. I want to do my kitchen cabinets, but always thought I'd have to use an oil based product.
Thanks!

Base Cabinets InstallationBase cabinets in the home serve a variety of purposes. You can store food, cookware, and dishes in them. You can make the cabinets basically any size that you want, and you can also install them yourself. The first thing you want to do is tear out the old cabinets. Be sure that everything is out of the cabinets before you take the old ones out. Measure the width and length of the cabinet space so that you can purchase the correct size of the new cabinets. You can then go to a hardware store and get the type of wood that you would like to use on your cabinets. The thicker the wood, the more expensive it may be, but the longer it will last. When you get the wood home, cut the wood in the shape you need for it to fit underneath the counter. If you are replacing the entire counter as well as the cabinet, you need to measure this area as well. Use sturdy joints in the corners of the cabinets so you can easily open and close the doors. If you want to install shelves in the cabinets, install them before you place the door on.
The base cabinets are usually 24" so the counter top ends up being somewhere between 24 1/2 to 25".
