It should be fine as it is. As long as your initial marriage is legal, there shouldn't be any need to register it in Northern Ireland. It will be recognised.

Which legislative body can enact same-sex marriage legislation in Northern Ireland?

This answer is either the Northern Ireland Assembly or the Westminster Parliament (Houses of Lords and Commons in London). The Northern Ireland Assembly is empowered to legislate on certain "transferred matters," but prevented from doing so on other "reserved matters" and "excepted matters" which can only be dealt with by the Westminster Parliament. (The list of matters is specific to Northern Ireland; legislators in Scotland and Wales have to deal with different, yet similar, limitations.) In the United Kingdom, the Westminster Parliament is sovereign, meaning it absolutely can pass any law it pleases and that law can apply to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Whether the Northern Ireland Assembly can alter the legal requirements for marriage in Northern Ireland is unclear.
