If you want to choose between webkinz or neopets,webkinz you need to get a webkinz toy(or webkinz animal),neopets you can make an account(like webkinz)but you don't have to buy a neopet toy,also in neopets when you want to buy stuff in the store where you need neocash you have to buy a card and use its code.

∙ 9y agoA pet is what you make it and deciding which is the best for you can involve many factors. You may want to decide which colour you like best as not all pets can be painted all colours. You might want to decide whether you want to battle - some pets are considered to be better off when it comes to species-specific weapons. If you are an avatar collector you might want to get a pet that will obtain you an avatar. All these things depend on personal preference.
There are many neopets that are good at doing stuff but i depends what you want the neopet to be best at,
some of the best neopets are draiks, jetsams, chombies, tonus and some of the limited edition neopets

∙ 13y agoPowerPets is a kid friendly site that is also entertaining for adults and teens.
It has quests, dolls to dress up, pets to feed and play, books to read that have information about real animals, and boards that are monitored 24/7 to ensure it is always a safe environment for all ages to be on.
There is a control center for parents, [any children under 13 who sign up, must have a parent sign up with them], which enables the parents to control what the child does on the site.
PowerPets has things that are purchasable through the Upgrade Center, and some of the money that is spent on buying Power Credits goes to real life animal shelters. Also, every $10 US dollars spent on purchasing Power Credits, a ticket will be entered to be able to get your own stuffy.
There is so much more to PowerPets than you think. The staff listen to player suggestions, and talk on the board every day!
PowerPets also isn't full of annoying advertisements!! It is a very clean environment for kids to visit, without having to worry about them clicking on ads that would be full of viruses.
PowerPets is more than just a virtual pet site, because it GIVES BACK to animal shelters. How many virtual pet sites can say that?
Neopets on the other hand is full of advertisements. I left neopets when I was 13, and moved to PowerPets, and I am happy I made the switch.

∙ 14y agoIt's a personal opinion, but Powerpets is best. Neopets may be huge, but it's hard to find anything, the staff will never help you, some people can get banned for complaining, the people are mean, and the site is just out to make money, and won't lift a finger to help real life animals.
Powerpets is smaller, has better games, is easy to figure out and to make money, the people are nice, you're allowed to complain and state your opinion, and the money they make goes to two places: to making and managing the site, and to various animal shelters across North America.

∙ 14y agoIt depends on your preferences. I find Marapets to full of advertisements. To the point where it is difficult to navigate the website because of them. They do however allow a certain amount of freedom to their older users. Neopets is a more professional website with very strict rules.
