In a 1999 Mercury Sable, the fuse box is located under the dashboard on the driver's side. To access it, look for a small panel near the steering column. There is also a secondary fuse box located in the engine compartment, near the battery, which houses fuses for various electrical systems. Always refer to the owner's manual for specific fuse locations and functions.
