A:Genesis 2:17 explicitly forbids Adam to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but does not forbid him to eat of the Tree of Life. Leon R. Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom: Reading Genesis) says that this can be explained because Adam would not have been aware of his own mortality and would therefore not have been interested in eating from the Tree of Life. There was, at this stage in the story, no reason for God to bring this tree to Adam's attention.

After Adam had eaten of the Tree of Knowledge, he then knew that one day he would die. He also knew that the fruit of the Tree of Life would give him immortality. God drove Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden and placed cherubim and a flaming sword at the entrance to keep or block the path to the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24). It was no longer enough to forbid Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree of Life: they had to be forcibly prevented from doing so.

No Adam and Eve were clearly told by god, You must not eat from the tree of KNOWLEDGE.For if you do, you shall surely die.. The tree of life is different.

Therefore there are two views:

1. Adam ate from the tree of life but in order to live forever he had to continue to eat from it. Once he was banished from the garden, he was unable to access the fruit and therefore began to generate, and ultimately die.

2. Adam never ate from the Tree of Life, but had he done so, he would have lived forever whether God banished him from the garden of Eden or not. So all he had to do to have eternal life is eat of the fruit once.

The fact that there is a Tree of Life in the new earth suggests that, for eternity, the inhabitants of earth will have access to the tree of life. Otherwise God could simply give them an item of fruit, from a source in heaven, and then they would live forever. It appears then that Adam ate from the Tree of Life but unable to access the fruit, after he sinned, he was sentenced to die.

I think they did, because it says just before they were forced to get out of the Garden of Eden, God said "You will bear children with intense pain and suffering". And why would He need to say this if Eve never gave birth before? So God said this meaning from now on.

A:

The story does not actually say that Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat from the Tree of Life. Leon R. Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom: Reading Genesis) says that God knew they had no reason to do so until they were aware of their mortality. Once they had eaten of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, they had become like gods, except that they were still mortal (Genesis 3:22-23): "And the Lord God said, Behold the man has become as one of us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also of the Tree of Life, and live forever: therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden."

Knowing that they would now eat the fruit from the Tree of Life, God sent them from the Garden of Eden and place cherubim and a flaming sword to block the way to the Tree of Life.

The Bible only tells us she ate "The forbidden fruit" it doesnt describe the nature of the fruit. what we should focus on instead of what kind of fruit it was, is that she disobeyed God who warned her and Adam not to eat of the tree of life.

Did God still love and support Adam and Eve after they ate the forbidden fruit or did he kick them out of his life?

God still loved them. God kicked them out of the "garden" not His life. Adam and Eve's disobedience came as no surprise to God. God instructed Adam and Eve how they could maintain their relationship with Him - through a blood sacrifice.

What symbolizes the number of years between Adam and Eve and the coming of Jesus?

A starsymbolizes the years between the creation of Adam and Eve, and the life of Jesus of Nazareth [c. 7-4 B.C.E. - c. A.D. 30]. A symbol refers to the use of something that can be seen, to represent something that can't be seen. Adam and Eve symbolize the fall of human creation from divine grace. Adam's and Eve's fall from divine grace is symbolized by the Devil Lucifer, whose name means 'light bearer' or 'shining star'. But Jesus' redeeming life counters the hope shattering star of the Devil. Jesus' life saving and life giving mission is signaled and symbolized by his own bright star over Bethlehem. In between the creation of Adam and Eve, and the existence of Jesus Christ is the life of Abraham. God promised Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the skies. And indeed, the symbol of the modern state of Israel is the star of David.

Who where the first to live on earth?

If you had asked who were the first human spirirts upon the earth I would have answered Satan and his followers. But as you said Humans meaning human beings then it would have had to have been Adam and Eve AFTER their fall. Though they had bodies before the fall thay were not human for they had no blood. They were spirits with a human body encasing it.

What authority Adam had before the fall?

adam had authority over everything on earth just as humans do today. he could name and identify new animals, plantlife, etc and was charged with their care (their survival depended on him) just as our earth's survival depends on us caring for it. he didn't lose any authority on earth just the connection with god and the promise of eternal life.
