Always download the latest version of RuneScape from the official site to avoid scams and viruses.
You can download the Runescape Client if your web-browser does not support Runescape. It is available under the 'Downloads' section on Runescape's website. http://rapidshare.com/files/396433751/RSmusic_416_fx_228.zip This contains 416 Music Tracks and 228 Effects.
The Runescape client does not need to be downloaded. However if you download it, you can play at the same quality as if you are on a web browser while running Runescape at a lower processing rate than if you are using a web browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer.
not really, unless you download the client, but playing it on the internet isn't downloading.
Runescape is a fully Java based game, but your able to play it without java. how to : 1.go on runescape 2.press community bar pick downloads & wallpapers. 3.download windows client . a link will open on your desktop use it to play runescape without java!!!!!! ( 100% working i use it ) .
All the download is is a shortcut no advertisement version from your desktop. To download it go to the downloads and there is a section about the windows client. This means it is a download onto your desktop that allows no browser clutter.
go to http://www.moparscape.org and download their client. just remember to not use you actual runescape username and password, as it could get stolen. moparscape is not the original runescape, its the private servers.
Previously, NO. You could play runescape without Java because runescape runs of a Java platform and only a Java platform unless somehow your a really good programmer and you figure out how to make a program to run it, you would basically have to make a complete new version of your own runescape platform. However, with the release of the RuneScape downloadable client, users without Java can now download the client and play it from there. The browser version of RuneScape still requires Java. There is no way to play Runescape without java being installed on your PC. The "Tiko" Toolkit on rs-tiko.com doesn't work without java either, the only way is to download it. if you cannot download it ask your IT administrator to download it for you.
You just download the client of the downloads section of the site, then drag it down the jump drive, simple.
No, the official Runescape client is not a virus.
Use the moparscape forums for guides on that.
There are 100's of Runescape private servers that work in the moparscape client. On the moparscape website they have a list of servers that are currently online. You go to one of the most used/popular servers and download it - change the servername and port on the client and you should be good to go.
Runescape private servers may or may not be safe. Malicious code can easily be attached to the client. The only safe Runescape client is the official game client supported by Jagex.
