You ask about rumours in riverwood inn, or any other in and it will direct you to a child in windhelm called Aventus Aretino, talk to him he will thuink you are dark brotherhood and will ask you to carry out an assassination, do as he says, get his quest reward and then sleep in a safe place (not an inn) and............. you can find out what happens then

∙ 11y agoTo start their quests, just go to Windhelm and gain access to the Arentino Residence. When you get in you will hear a little boys' voice. Follow the voice to a small room with a boy doing the Black Sacrament. Speak to him and perform his task. After 24 hours you will receive a letter from the Courier with a Black Hand and the words "We Know". After you receive this letter sleep in any bed and you will wake up in the Abandoned Shack. When you are there you have a choice of joining or destroying the Dark Brotherhood.
