Is it possible to get drunk on skyrim?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

What ingredients do you need to make a good healing potion in Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

There are many ingredients that can create Restore Health potions, though some require a higher Alchemy skill before that particular property is visible. However even a novice alchemist can use ingredients like Aloe Vera Leaves, Sweetcakes, Cairn Bolette Cap, Boar Meat, Mugwort Seeds, Venison and Lady's Mantle Leaves.

The key to making a good healing potion though is not determined by the ingredients, as every ingredient provides them same healing effect. What determines the strength of the potion is your alchemy skill, and the quality of the alchemical equipment you use.

The more poor potions you make, the more chance you've got of increasing your alchemy skill, and in time, you'll be making more effective potions.

Where do you find gold on Skyrim?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

you can find gold everywhere. the best way to get loads of gold is by doing companions, dark brother hood, storm cloak or imperial missions. you can also get gold buy selling stuff to the merchants. if you are going to sell a weapon make sure you put a weapon enchant on it by using a arcane enchanter. if you are going to sell weapons to merchant don't sell weapons to khjiit caravans they give you a poor price. i got from 500 gold to 14,000 gold buy doing every dark brother hood mission so that's the best way and you also get a awsome horse from doing the dark brother hood. message me if you want to know how to join the dark brother hood, companions, stormcloak or imperial.

Can you change your look's after you have started in Skyrim elder scrolls?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I love Oblivion. My Argonian female, Sei-laa, I made just because I think that argonians are hot. By the time I got to level 27, and I wanted to be able to identify with my character more, so I started checking around to see if I could change my character. Alass, I could not.

There is no way to change your character once you leave the sewers.

Sadly, my console crashed, and I lost all of my data... at least I can build a character that suits me better this time.

Can Skyrim be played on a mac?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Yes, Skyrim will run on a MacBook Pro with Windows installed via BootCamp or a virtualization software such as Parallels or VMWare Fusion. Virtualization software, however, means simultaneously running Windows and its programs (such as Skyrim) at the same time as the Mac OS, which may result in poor performance during gameplay.

You can also run it through a Cider wrapper or WineSkin, however, that isn't as easy.

Using BootCamp (included with your Intel-based Mac) for Windows is the easiest method.

How do you get a slave in the house in the elder scrolls oblivion?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

First, you buy the Skingrad house Rosethorn Hall in Oblivion. It costs a lot (consider multiplying objects to sell to build up the money) and you need a lot of Fame, so cover this stuff first.

Second, buy all the furniture at the shop. Just follow the compass. You NEED to have the servant's quarters or Eyja won't move in.

Third, find Eyja. This isn't hard- she's usually at Colovian Trader's. Pay 150 gold and she's yours.

By asking around in Whiterun. Usually you can just talk to a bartender in one of the inns and ask for rumors or information. This will give you the Miscellaneous Task "Join the Companions". You can talk to the leader of the Companions in Jorrvaskr, their base in Whiterun. Jorrvaskr is located in the small area in front of Dragonsreach. It is a large building to the east (in whiterun)

How many races are in the game Skyrim?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

There are no new playable races. The creators are trying to keep the lore of the game the same throughout, for continuity, which will allow the Elder Scrolls series to prosper well beyond the average game "shelf life".

The main races in the game are:

  • Argonian
  • Altmer (High Elf)
  • Bosmer (Wood Elf)
  • Breton
  • Dunmer (Dark Elf)
  • Dwemer (unplayable)
  • Falmer (unplayable)
  • Imperial
  • Khajiit
  • Nord
  • Orismer (Orc)
  • Redguard
  • Snow Elf (unplayable)

Two other sub-races are Vampires and Werewolves, but these are optionally applied to the player, if they wish, later in the game. If you have the Dragonborn DLC, the Werebear race is added, but you cannot play as this. Any of the main races ambove can be either a vampire, werewolf or werebear.

However, the modding community has created mods for the game that add different playable races in the game. Or allow you to play as a race which is originally unplayable, such as Snow Elf. You can find these mods, for the PC version of the game, in the official Skyrim modding community.
