the C02 seal is shot. time to install a new seal. check with customer service at the link below.
It all depends on how good the seal is but usually not more that a few hours. Besides it is not recommended that you leave a C02 powerlett in the air gun when you are finished shooting it will eventually ruin the seal if you leave it pressurized for a long period of time.
air is CO2

I own well over 70 different air guns and rifles and I NEVER leave the C02 in the guns. The pressure can ruin the seal on the older airguns if it sits pressed up against the seal too long.
No, the seal will melt and let out the co2 before the aluminum body ruptures. if it is continually heated after that, then it may form an air pocket and explode. Do not put them in extreme heat.
Most all C02 air guns use the common 12 gram C02 cartrage.
Co2 is for paintball guns. plants breath it in and expel oxygen
Benjamin model EB22. Crosman model 2240. Benjamin Marauder Air or C02 Pistol. All 3 of these are .22 cal C02 air pistols, There are several others but they are spring or pneumatic not C02 systems
CO2 is in the air and as the air moves so does the CO2 in it.
The seal has gone bad. Never leave a C02 cartridge in an airgun after you finish shooting it. It will eventually ruin the seal. You can contact daisy Customer service (see the link below) and ask them for advise or repair.
