I am not sure if this is a strange religions question, but I am going to assume not.

A cell that "dies" is broken down via enzymatic activity and the component proteins are recycled into other cells. No waste in nature!

What can go wrong if your nerve cells are not working?

Remember that there are nerve cells in the brain as well as the rest of the body. If they don't work, death will be the end result.

How does dying happen?

Death is a process. You go through stages. Here are the stages: 1. Agnola Period-Period of time over which steps accure. A. Necrobiosis-Natrual death of the cells B. Necrosis-Pathologic death of the cells as a result of disease processes 2. Somatic Death-The death of the entire body A. Clinical Death-Can be resusciated B. Brain Death-When respiration and heartbeat not restored C. Biological Death-Irreversible an't be resusciated D. Postmortem Celluar Death-all the cells die

Do things that are dead still have cells?

Yes, things that are dead still have cells. These cells begin to die after somatic death (whole body death).

What factor can stop normal cells from growing?

Is water found in cells?

What is the difference between necrosis and ischemia?

necrosis is death of cells with underlying/ or death of cells that cause inflammation. necrosis has to have an underlying injury. ischemia is decreased blood supply to tissues/ cells due to obstruction/ constriction of vasculature - indeed, this is an injury, and can lead to necrosis of cells if not resolved quickly! Note that apoptosis is programmed cell death - i.e. nucleus control is involved, and there is no inflammation - it is clean cell death! this is awesome.

What cells go through mitosis?

nerve cells and sex cells

Which type of cells go through mitosis?

Somatic cells, also known as body cells, go through mitosis.

Does continuous mass cell death occur for all types of animal cells?

Continuous mass cell death occurs for all types of animal cells. It refers to a cellular process called apoptosis, or programmed cell death.

What prevents us from bleeding to death?

red blood cells

What is the term for all of the cells that go across the spreadsheet horizontally?

The cells that go across the spreadsheet horizontally is called a row of cells.

Some cells go through a programmed death?

Yes, it is called apoptosis. This is a very good thing. For example, if the skin cells between your fingers and toes did not experience apoptosis during your growth and development in the womb, you would have webbed hands and feet!
