In the intake, after the air filter plastic
Depends on the engine and ECU you have in it
There is an article here with photos for changing an air mass meter.
the mass air flow sensor detects the flowing of mass air into the engine while the mass air flow meter detects the amount of mass air flowing into the ingine.
by the air filter
no its not. idlecontrol valve controls idle mass meter measures air flow into itake
Removing the hoses coming from the air box and the air plenum. Next pry off the wire clip that secures the plug to the AMM. Make note of the #s on it, there are a couple differrent ones.
check the hose from the turbo to the air mass meter on the bottom of it may be burst very common repair or replace.
Connected to the intake air duct.
That depends on the mass, pressure, and temperature of the air in the cubic meter.
A cubic meter of air has less mass at a high point compared to a low point. This is because air density decreases with altitude due to lower atmospheric pressure, resulting in fewer air molecules in a given volume. Consequently, the mass of air in a cubic meter is greater at lower elevations, where the air is denser.
An air flow meter, also know as air consumption meter, is a device that measures how much air is flowing through a tube. It does not measure the volume of the air passing through the tube, it measures the amount of mass flowing through the device in a defined time segment. So, an air flow meter is just an application of mass flow meters for a special medium.
