There are two places to find Carnax. The first is Guardian only, as it involves the teleport beam in the tower. You go there and click Carnax fight. The second is to go to Falerins place on the Ilse D'Oriens (in the library, click on the arch thingy) and click on the non smoking scroll

Alright.. the fastest way to earn gold is to defeat carnaxs parts go to the guardian tower and goto the teleporter room, Click on the teleporter and choose Defeat carnax Get 900-1500 gold and 2000-4000 exp But i would recomend lvls 60+ Cause carnax is like lvl 75 lol...But, if your not a guardian, battle heaps of monsters, open the magic chest as many times you can and/or sell stuff you bought for gold back
