where is the 5 coil located on a 2002 Lincoln ls
8 -one per cylinder
Good question.
The spark plugs are located beneath the individual ingnition coils. Remove each coil then remove spark plug as normal
Look at top of the valve covers. There you will find a small coil for each individual cylinder. When you take that coil off the spark plugs are below the coil.
For a 1999 Lincoln Navigator : ( 1 - 3 - 7 - 2 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 8 ) It has the Coil On Plug ( C.O.P. ) ignition system with ( 8 ) individual coils The engine cylinder locations are numbered : firewall 4 - 8 3 - 7 2 - 6 1 - 5 front of vehicle
