No they were not. They were Jews. Catholicism was not until centuries later. The original text was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.
Answer 2
Yes and No. The term "Catholic" came into existence to define those from the original church who believed that the Pope in Rome was the most important figure in terms of ruling Christendom. The four gospel-writers may have considered themselves Jews, but they were part of the original church as well. They were not specifically Catholic, but the term can be anachronistically applied to them just like the term "Orthodox" can be applied to them.
all of them.
There are four gospels in the Bible, each written by a different author, so there are four gospel writers. All the gospels were written anonymously and only attributed to the apostles whose names they now bear, later in the second century. There is no good reason to believe that these were the actual authors of the gospels, so we do not know the names of the four gospel writers. John's Gospel might have been written by more than one evangelist.
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were the four gospel writers, and as sinners can not forgive a single sin.

The Gospel writers all record it, as does Flavius Josephus.

The gospel is first four books in the new testament of the bible by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, all about the life of Jesus.
They don't, they honor her as per the gospel: "from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed"
