If you refer to the writers of the Gospels in the New Testament, then the answer is Yes, Probably. The books of Matthew and John were written by two of Jesus' disciples. Luke was a companion of the Apostle Paul's and so was probably old enough to have been around when Jesus was alive, though most certainly they never met (Luke did not live in Israel). Mark most likely was fairly young when he became a companion of Peter and Paul, so may have been born after Jesus' ascension, although there's no way to know for sure. Some traditions equate Mark with the servant that runs out of his clothes when a soldier grabs him at Jesus' arrest. In any case, Mark is fairly prevalent shortly after Jesus' ascension (within 15 years certainly), so, whomever he was for sure, he most likely was alive during Jesus' ministry and may have seen him on occasion.
