What is the value ans age of a Ithaca 10 gauge double barrel shotgun serial number 302232?
first go to Ithaca gun com. on the interet. i have a 10 gage double barrel ser. no. 286674f{ f stands for flues models} and it was made in 1917. ibought it for around 300dollars but it has a busted stock. i am trying to find out what the field grade is. the field grade needs to be known for pricing. if you can come up with the location on the field grade, please contact me at sseis@wbcable.net. thanks skip

Since my Ithica had sentimental value as a family gun I had it re-blued. He also mentioned that the 20 ga. is less common than the 12 ga., and has a higher value.

Your gun is a Minier model Ithaca from 1907. "Manier" was a misprint on a serial number chronology Ithaca Gun Co. put out back in the 1960s. These were nice "utility grade" guns, made only for a couple of years, and are not in the same demand as the high grade Ithaca doubles. Depending on condition, these usually sell for $300-$400. PLEASE have this checked by a competent gunsmith before shooting ANYTHING in it. Guns from that time period sometimes had shorter chambers, and it IS 111 years old.
