I read this article in a PSP discussion site. I think that they're right.
PSPgo's only 2 advantages are; it is slide, and it has got bluetooth. Other than that, it's not much different than PSP slim. In fact, a friend of mine told me that PSPgo's screen is worse than PSP slim's.
To summarize, if you buy a PSPgo, you spend more money for nothing, because generally PSP slim and PSPgo are the same.

On the PSP go you have to download games because there isn't a UMD drive, but on the PSP slim there is a UMD drive. If you already have a bunch of UMD's I strongly recommend getting PSP slim. But if you don't have any UMD's your best bet is to get a PSP go. PS ----> I hope this Helped!

The PSP is now quite outdated and has been replaced by an all new handheld device called the PSVita. There were many versions of the PSP, PSP1000, PSP2000, PSP3000, PSPGO and PSP E1000. PSP 2000 and 3000 were the slim models and I believe they were the best of the PSP models because they had twice the RAM as the PSP 1000 and have more features than E1000 such as WIFI and Stereo Speakers. The PSP GO was different than the other PSP models as it did not feature a slot for the UMD disc that the PSP uses to play games.

If on the sides your psp sticks out, you have the 1000. If its slim but has no microphone, you have the 2000. If its slim but has a microphone, you have the 3000. The psp go hasn't come out yet but on that the screen slides up.

The PSP 3000 is a much later version compared to the PSP Slim and Lite (or 2000).The main improvements in the PSP 3000 includes a better screen colour and build in mic.I personally like the PSP 3000 more as I find the colours on the PSP 3000 better compared to the PSP2000.
