After 18, age is not the issue, it's your credit rating. You could be 50 and need a cosigner if your credit is bad.
The way to good credit is to pay all your bills and credit charges within the grace period. Credit cards are a great way to work your credit rating up, but they are dangerous if you don't use them correctly!
Think clearly about what you buy. If you can't afford it, don't buy it.
Always pay the balance due within the grace period.
Only use your credit card to buy what you can afford to pay back.
Never spend credit you cannot pay back at the end of the month.
If you have to spend more than you can pay back at notice, pay it down as fast as you can.
Your credit rating has allot to do with "Available Credit" which means the amount of credit granted to you that you do not have obligated.
Not having your family trust.
You will need a co-signer on a loan if the lender has determined that you do not have enough income or the credit rating necessary to make the purchase alone. It could also be related to your age, if you are a minor.
Some students can and some students cant it depends on the students age. if the student is under 18 years of age then they need a cosigner. But if they are over 18 then they usually dont.
A cosigner is needed when the primary borrower does not, for whatever reason, (age, income, credit rating, etc.) does not qualify for a loan on their own merit.
There is no maximum age. I don't think federal law would allow any discrimination based on age.
well whats your age? whats his age?
In the UK, it is 18 having been increased from 16 in 2007.
54
It depends on the local & state laws where you live. I dont believe the BATF covers them because no federal paperwork is required to purchase one.
it all depends on what you mean by age requirment. if you are talking about drivers license then the age is 16. If you are talking about purchasing a vehicle then the age is 18 and some dealers require a cosigner until the age of 21.
