AnswerWow, here in my part of Texas you get a slap on the wrist - with a piece of paper asking you to please come to court - in about a month or so (if you have the time, of course)! And, that's after you have caused an accident! No arrest made of the girl that ran the red light - and driving with NO license - and hit my child's Tahoe so hard the vehicle flipped and slid through the intersection into a pole!
