Hi, I am guessing you are looking to get into a TEFL course. If you are thinking of the one offered by Henry Harvin EFL Academy, I would certainly encourage it. I had good experience with them. The trainer was certified. (at least the one that I got was) He took all the concepts in detail. As they had promised, they helped with placement after the completion. I was placed with a private training institute in Thailand. The job wasn't very high paying but since I had no prior experience in the field, I wasn't expecting much. I worked there for almost a year. And this experience opened up lot of job opportunities for me. Overall, I can say it is a good course and can benefit you a lot in establishing your career abroad as English trainer.
The course provides a lot of insights into how to be an expert TEFL teacher. The trainer provided many practical tips that can be used by us to make the session interesting and engaging. The course is designed in a way that it covers all the important concepts in a short period without compromising with the quality. And they provide a globally accepted certificate which can be used to apply for any English teaching job abroad.
I took the course in 2019 after graduating with Masters in English Literature. I was desperate to find a job abroad, specifically in Singapore. The course promised that I will be able to apply for any TEFL job in any country with this certificate. I honestly had big doubts - it was just a 2 months course, that too online. I didn't think it would make much difference to my CV. I researched and found online TEFL courses are hugely popular and actually beneficial, provided done from an accredited place.
Henry Harvin is accredited and provides placement assistance, so I registered. It was actually very helpful. I learnt a lot and applied for many jobs. I got one in Dubai as an English teacher.
The course really helped me and I will recommend to whosoever is trying to break into international education industry.
And I am still applying for jobs in Singapore.
It is a wonderful accredited course that is online & self-paced. The management and trainers are very supportive and encouraging. I learned a lot from it and also was able to get placed as an ESL trainer abroad.
It is an online self-paced program that educates you in the best processes of teaching English to non-native speakers. Henry Harvin really provides a quality training which qualifies you to be an international English teacher. My teaching skills improved dramatically in a matter of two months.
I loved the course. Each session was very immersive and useful. They take a different approach to teaching a language. They will teach you to understand from the perspective of a student as well as give you practical tips that you can use to manage your class more efficiently.
The course is taken by certified teachers and is recognized by AAEFL. So, yes it is authentic. But let me remind you, it is an online course so don't take it up expecting classroom sessions. Everything from lessons, assessments to receiving the certificate will be online. Hope the answer helped.
