German, French and English are the most spoken languages. Other 'big' languages include Spanish, Italian and Polish. The EU has 3 alphabets - the Latin alphabet (i.e. English, French, German, etc.), the Cyrillic alphabet (Bulgarian and other languages which aren't yet part of the EU) and the Greek alphabet.
