You might try a normal dryer sheet. ALL THE GLUES I USE (WOOD, 2-PART EPOXIES, WHITE, INSTANT, AND GORILLA GLUES, THE ODOR FROM THESE GLUES DISSIPATE THRU THE CURING PROCESS. IF ITS THE ODOR FROM THE GLUE WHEN YOUR GLUING THINGS TOGETHER, MOVE CLOSER TO A WINDOW AND PUT A FAN IN THE WINDOW TO EXHAUST THE ODOR.
It depends WHAT you are gluing. Each glue is made for a particular surface or type of surface. Very few glues are totally universal. Generally glues can be divided to 2 types-1 - for rough porous surfaces ( epoxies and heavy liquid glues) ,-2, for smooth, impenetrable surfaces (Cyanoacrylates )
Scotch has various liquid glues, 2-3 epoxies, a rubber glue and a super glue type. -All VERY expensive.
