ANS 2 -There are literally thousands of glues. Some of the more common ones are : -
-white glue, yellow glue, carpenters glue , -all for wood and paper products.
Cyanoacrylites, Super glues, - for smooth surface joints.
Epoxies of many kinds - for dis-similar surfaces and very strong joints
Marine and Plumbing epoxies - for underwater joints
Urethane compounds - for filling and adhering large gaps
Silicon adhesives - for glass and some metals.
Hot-gun glues - for near instant joints
--these are just a few of the types available, there are hundreds more.

What types of glue are there that would stick wood together?
There are hundreds of different types of glue. Super glue, crazy glue, white glue, yellow glue, fast epoxy, silicone, slow epoxy, ABS pipe glue , just to mention a few.
Some types of glue do contain water, such as water-based glues like white glue or wood glue. Water is used as a carrier for the adhesive components in these types of glues. Other types of glue, like super glue or epoxy, do not contain water.
