The cerebrum and cerebellum.
The cerebellum is located near the back of the brain and his cupped around the brainstem. This portion of the brain is responsible for muscle coordination, balance, involuntary movements.
The cerebral peduncles are located in the midbrain, which is the uppermost portion of the brainstem. They consist of white matter tracts that connect the cerebral cortex to other parts of the central nervous system, facilitating communication between different brain regions.
This is actually located in the brainstem in particular the medulla oblongata. This is the primitive part of the brain which we have no "concious" control over (it is autonomic) and ensures that we breathe above all costs (i.e. you can't forcibly hold your breath and suffocate yourself). This part of the brain however can be influenced by other parts of the brain which we do have control over.
The optic nerves and chiasma are located in the brain, specifically in the area of the optic tracts near the base of the brain. The pituitary gland is situated beneath the brain, near the optic chiasma. The mammillary bodies are part of the hypothalamus, located at the base of the brain near the pituitary gland.
brain stem.
The brainstem, located at the base of the brain, controls life-sustaining functions such as heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure. It includes vital structures like the medulla oblongata, which regulate these automatic processes to keep us alive.
Areas located away from the capital of Rome were either the provinces or named territories. There are two located within the brain:The pituitary gland is located near the base of the brainThe pineal gland is located within the diencephalon (of the brain)
This bone was located near the brain. This bone had nerves running through it.
The brain structure responsible for fear responses and memory of fear is called the amygdala. It plays a key role in processing emotions, especially fear, and is involved in forming and storing emotional memories. The amygdala is located near the hippocampus in the temporal lobe of the brain.
In its head, in the skull below the ears and behind the eyes.
Cerebellum means "little brain" in Latin which is situated near to the Cerebrum "Big Brain" in Latin.
