I assume your rifle is an SMLE in .303 British. If so, value can range from $300 for an unmodified specimen in fair condition, and up to about $700 for one in excellent condition. You will really need a hands-on review. Take your rifle to a gun show near you where dealers and collectors are gathered in one spot for your convenience.

This refers to the Enfield rifle, which was made in several versions. The first ones were made for WW1. I think the Mark 3 was the first one made for WW2.

The Mauser rifles manufactured by Carl Gustav had the year of manufacture on the top of the chamber, under the manufacturer's roll mark. If this is faded on your rifle, examination with a magnifying glass or the use of a product like White Out may be necessary to make these markings legible.
