Diseases can be transmitted by touch such as via a handshake between an infected and uninfected person, blood and other bodily fluids in example an infected blood transfusion, sexually transmitted which can occur from oral vaginal or anal sex, aerosol also known as respiratory which can occur when one coughs or sneezes on another person or on an object that is then handled by the other person, and by consumption such as in third world countries when feces seeps into water sources and infects a population.
