ASVAB is irrelevant as far as going to Jump School or being on active jump status is concerned. So long as you can qualify for an MOS for which airborne slots are available, you can go.

Same as any other job in the military. Go to a recruiter, score well enough on the ASVAB to qualify and tell your recruiter that you want to be a medic. Make sure it says medic (68W in the US army) on your contract.

I am taking ASVAB test and my current GPA is 2.9 do you think I can at-least pass the test?

GPA is not a good indication of intelligence or ability. Let me explain: I took the ASVAB in 1982 for the US Navy. At that time, I qualified for all Navy ratings except one, which required a perfect score. My GT score was in excess of 120. I graduated from high school the year before with a 1.67 GPA, a flat D average. I was 57th in a class of 64. Since that time, I have earned two degrees, and scored well on several IQ tests. The ASVAB is primarily a performance or ability test. There is an IQ component as well. How you did in school will have very little to do with how you score on the ASVAB.

Hi, What are the testing requirements for the US Army Thank you?

Hi, for the asvab which is the written exam the minimum you need for the army is a score of 31, but the higher the score is the more job oppotunities there are. Now for physical training test that depends on the age and gender of the person. For example, Im 21 yo to graduate i need to pass my pt test which consists of 19 push ups in 2 min, 53 situps in 2 min, and a 2mile run in 18m:52s. I hope this answers your question

What is the average IQ of American enlisted soldiers?

I know that during the first half of the 1980's the average IQ of enlisted ranks in the US Army was around 100. I suspect that has not changed much. The minimum allowable for enlistment is 90, and is permissible for some MOS's. The IQ score is reflected in the GT portion of the ASVAB taken by all perspective enlistees for all military branches.

Need the best answer for the basic requirements to get a job in air force?

If you are talking about the US Airforce you will as a minimum need to pass a health physical and take an armed services vocational apptitude battery of tests (ASVAB) covering your scores in four critical areas -- Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension and Mathematics Knowledge that count towards your Armed Forces Qualifying Test (AFQT) score. The AFQT score determines whether you're qualified to enlist in the U.S. military. Your scores in the other areas of the ASVAB will determine how qualified you are for certain military occupational specialties and Enlistment Bonuses. A high score will improve your chances of getting the specialty/job and signing bonus you want. Scoring high on the ASVAB will require study and concentration. Don't skimp on preparing for this test. It's your future. Get the most out of it. You will find the answers to your questions and links to study for the tests here: http://www.military.com/ASVAB
