You can use any SAE certified manual transmission fluid in your 1996 Ford manual transmission. Make sure you use manual transmission fluid and not automatic transmission fluid.

Manual transmission fluid is MERCON automatic transmission fluid.
Clutches don't have fluid. You must be talking about the transmission fluid. You should consult your manual, but it must be like all other vehicles in that there is a drain plug on the bottom of the transmission which you take out, drain the fluid, replace the plug, and fill up the fluid by dumping it into the dipstick tube. Use a funnel, consult the manual for capacity.

Most manual transmissions use 80W90 gear oil. To be sure, check your owners manual. I have seen one use 30w motor oil.

That manual transmission doesn't use gear oil. You can use Mercon ATF.
