In English, there are a few, such as Petra or Palmyra, but the Arabic language does not have a letter "P" and so the only reason these names have English names starting with "P" is that they existed in Roman Times and since Latin has a "P", the English name is rendered that way. (In Arabic, these cities are rendered with the letter "B" -- Bitra and Balmira.)
