The Bible mentions several reasons that Jesus was sent to us.
One important reason given is found at Luke 4:43-44, where Jesus himself says:
"...I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose."(Mark 1:38)(John 18:37) Also:
2. To set an example for us in conduct and faith(John 6:40)
3. To serve as a mediator between God and man(1 Timothy 2:3-6)
4. To ransom mankind and buy them back from sin and death(Romans 5:12-21)(Philippians 2:9-11)(Hebrews 7:26-28)
5. To break-up the works of the Devil(1 John 3:8)(John 9:39)
Genesis 1:31 "And God saw everything he had made, and look, it was VERY GOOD."Note: While some other verses in Genesis chapter 1 use the expression "it was good" (1:12,18,21,25); verse 31 uses the additional word, "very" good. That about sums it up.
Most Christians agree that the 'Gospel in a nutshell' verse of John 3:16 sums up the whole of God's revelation through the Old Testament culminating in the salvation by Jesus Christ. It reads: " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
The Bible verse "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" can be found in the New Testament, specifically in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 7, verse 12. This verse is often referred to as the Golden Rule.
Jesus lived a life with out sin, though he was in all points tempted like us. Then in his short ministry of about three and a half years, he preached and healed and showed God to the world. This verse sums up 'what Jesus did to the world.' Acts 10.38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
There is no such a Book. The Bible is whole only when it contains its 66 books. Each book has its value and significance. From Genesis to Revelation the Bible keeps up the same theme.
Jesus gave only one commandment: To love one another as I have loved you
While the rich gave large sums of money, the widow gave all she had.
The Bible sums up to Commands of God into two - Love God with everything you have and the other is to Love all as Jesus loved us. By following these Commands of God, there would be no wars or brutality towards another, instead there would be peace and cooperation. We would look out for each other and help each other in any and all good ways.
The answer will depend on what kind of sums.
It is related to Jesus' great commandments because these commandments, as we see is also compatible about Jesus' holy participation with the people while he's still in the earth. BUT, according to Him, we have responsibility to do while we are on earth. We need to follow His commandments. Many people say that following God's commandment is really easy, but never. God's commandments can be seen in Exodus 20:2-17. Some knew that our only God is our Father in Heaven, but some not. Those who believe in graven images and bow to them are idol worshipers. It goes by this. When you attend Penitensya, well Lord dont admire you. Because isn't it written in the Bible that your body is THE TEMPLE OF GOD......Just check the verse given so you could find better information. :)
The Bible sums it up in one word, "Love." We are to first love our creator God and next we are to love each other.
