Matt Henson was first. 1909.
There may have been some since.
No, Skunks are not native to the North Pole. If one is there it is because it has been brought in.
I recently came back from the North Pole (ICEX 2011), and while on our way, the crew was told that "about 2500 people" have been to the actual North Pole. The majority of these have been on US and UK Sumarines.
No and no. The Magnetic north pole is currently in North America. The geographic north pole is over water which is frozen quite thick. So people can walk to the geographic north pole and it has also been visited by several submarines.
No. People have been there.
There have been studies conducted of both penguins and the North Pole, but never together. The reason why?, because penguins live in the Antarctic, which lots of people wrongly call the South Pole.

According to the history books, it was the North Pole in 1909, with the South Pole following 2 years later. But, seeing the considerable doubt that has been uncovered about Peary's claim to the North Pole, there may have to be a revision.
Excellent question. As far as I am aware no Crowned Heads of States have ever been to the North Pole.
The North Pole is at the "top" of the earth. It is also called the Arctic. According to everything I've been taught, Santa really does live there.
we have been melting the ice and it could flood the world or places up North
magnetic lines of forces tavel from north pole to south pole because they are defined in that way. i mean to say as we know that the lines of forces are not real they are just been assumed for our calculations . now as lines of force has been defined as the path traced by a unit north pole when placed in a magnetic field then the lines of force will always start from a north pole and travel towards south pole as north pole repel unit north pole and south pole attract it.
If one is referring to the geographic North Pole, the location conventionally known as the "North Pole", then no. The only thing there is lots of ice, and the occasional scientist. Even animals do not tend to venture there (although polar bear tracks have been recorded.)There is a North Pole, Alaska that has a few stores. If one is talking about the magnetic North Pole, then none are found.
