On the New Edge Cougar, there are four knobs, one wheel, and five or six buttons. To the left of the wheel, is the headlight/running light knob, and the console light level adjustment wheel. To the right is the climate control panel, this may have been different on some higher end cougars, but most only had three knobs and no display. Above this is a pod containing the PATS light, a blank button, the button for the optional traction control system, and the button for rear windshield defrost. Finally is the four button pod used to control the dash computer, these are the Select, Units, Reset, and Clock button, they are mounted in a circular pod. Use the Select button to cycle through the computers functions, and the Reset button to reset a data set like trip odometer and fuel consumption. Refer to owners manual to change clock time.
