Are you American? I'm assuming you are, since you said 'high school'. I don't know if the requirements to get into Med. school in America are different than in England, so you'll want to double-check this:

Some universities prefer you to have all science subjects, while others prefer an arts for the third. As a rule, English literature is well-received (except for Cambridge University, who require all sciences).
The best way to check specific requirements is to email a couple of universities, even if you're still years away from applying and even if you wouldn't necessarily attend them, and ask what they would advise for a successful application to study medicine - they're usually very helpful. It all depends on what the occupation is.

well basically im a 15 year old boy wanting to be a doctor myself, i know that Nottingham university (queens medical centre) will only accept a MINIMUM of 6 a's at gcse, also you need maths, eng and science to be A's. It helps to have work experience, and also you need to take biology and chemistry for a levels(you need A's for them aswell!!). The more commitment in all subjects you show the better. hope this is helpful
