Three sciences
Maths u probably need a maths (3a and 3b)
A variety of subjects - eg. an art, a language, a humanity
and general English with economics for business
Are you American? I'm assuming you are, since you said 'high school'. I don't know if the requirements to get into Med. school in America are different than in England, so you'll want to double-check this:
Chemistry is essential
At least one out of: Biology, physics, maths, further maths
Some universities prefer you to have all science subjects, while others prefer an arts for the third. As a rule, English literature is well-received (except for Cambridge University, who require all sciences).
The best way to check specific requirements is to email a couple of universities, even if you're still years away from applying and even if you wouldn't necessarily attend them, and ask what they would advise for a successful application to study medicine - they're usually very helpful. It all depends on what the occupation is.
triple science, maths, English lang. and lit.,food tech., geography, art and music
if you don't do music it isn't the end of the world but art is necessary to show that you can actually think and that you aren't all about the academics.
hope i helped!
For GCSE, you would have to take Science to become a doctor. You should also take a language if you really want to impress them take German but if you aren't comfortable then french is a good idea
Also take an extra for your creative side so drama/art is an excellent idea, finally try to take a classic and if not take IT .Remember to take a humanity preferably RS the easiest option as long as you are good at expressing opinions you would probably be able to obtain an A* GRADE
GOOD LUCK! Hope this helped!! x

sciences and maths
In short - Yes. Most people are aware that there are a number of "core" subjects which students need to study in order to gain good college and university places, and to succeed in the work place. Typically, GCSE English, GCSE Maths and the GCSE dual Science syllabus are the "big three" subjects in this respect, and most employers and further or higher education establishments stipulate grade C or above for GCSE Maths, GCSE English and GCSE dual science as the syllabus for each of these subjects is considered to teach students skills which are vital for all aspects of life. For more information see Which GCSEs should I take link.
Typically, universities will look for 8 A*'s in GCSE but it doesnt really matter which subjects they are in.

science subjects like chemistry and biology
I should imagine you would need 5 a-c gcse's to get you into college on the course you would need. From college, you would gain a qualification(s) to get you into university where you would be able to gain a medical degree or whatever degree you need to do your chosen job. Good luck
English and Maths are essential. Good grades in any of the the other subjects - no subject is a 'must have'
what gcse's do you need to become a firefighter what gcse's do you need to become a firefighter
