I persume you mean the Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope (GMRT) in India. The way a received signal is processed is equivalent to the working principle of a double-super-heterodyne-receiver.

That means that a received signal is filtered, mixed with another frequency and filtered again to downscale it for transport from telescope antenna to the observation room...here it is mixed and filtered again so that the signal is be downconverted for recording and data analisys.

How does a signal cross from the axon of the neuron to the receiving cell?

When the electrical signal reaches the end of an axon, neurotransmitters are released. They travel across the synapse. Once they reach the receiving cell, they create a new electrical signal.

Why do you use modem?

modem means modulator demodulator. it converts digital signal to analog signal. it is use to transmit computer signal (digital signal) over the telephone line to communicate to other computers. modem converts the computer digital signal into frequency (analog signal) so that it can transmit over the telephone line and at the receiving end the modem converts the analog signal back to digital for the receiving computer to understand it.

What are the steps involved in the telecommunications process?

Sending computer system and equipment ( sending unit transmits a signal)to a modem ( that can perform many tasks)telecommunications ( medium is any material that carries a electronic signal to support communications )to another modem ( connected to the receiving device )the receiving unit ( receives the signal )the process is reversed.

Can a receiving team signal a fair catch on a kickoff but kicking team catch it after it goes 10 yards not interfering with receiving team?

Yes, a receiving team can signal a fair catch on a kickoff, which allows them to catch the ball without being hit. However, if the kicking team catches the ball after it has gone 10 yards, it is considered a live ball, and they can advance it. The fair catch signal by the receiving team is only effective for their players; once the ball has traveled 10 yards, the kicking team is allowed to catch and play the ball.

Are reception and wifi the same thing?

No. "Reception" means that you are receiving a signal well enough; wherereas "WiFi" is the wireless signal system for internet access, that you either have or don't have at your disposal.
