You would want to have a solid GPA, a 3.5 or higher. Also you'd want to be a well-rounded student: being in clubs, sports, music bands, and volunteering helps quite a bit.

The Average ACT score required is 31- 35 or above . With stellar recs and amazing EC's and overall personality.

there is no definite GPA at Oxford since the scoring is different in each country. however, chances are you'll need to go by the guidelines of universities such as Princeton or Stanford-- at LEAST a GPA of 4.0, most likely higher.

I gather that Princeton does not officially require a specified GPA from any applicant; however, in practice, most applicants will average 4.0 (almost entirely A grades) and will be in the top percentile of their class. I obtained this information from applying to Princeton myself!

You can get into Princeton University by getting straight A's and having many extracuricular activities. That will get them to notice you, but if you can't acheive this at least have a unweighted GPA of 3.7 or higher and a great essay.

dude go for like stanford, princeton and all the CU colleges...they dont look at frosh year
