Labrys
labrys
Athena the Greek goddess sprung out of Zeus's, (King of the gods), head in full battle armour, after he swallowed his wife Metis. (He had complained of severe headache's, so the god of the forge, Hephaestus, split Zeus's head with an ax.) He swallowed her because he feared she was carrying the son that prophesied to overthrow him.
some bloke that invented it
well, some examples are the ox- yoke, the bridle, the ax, the rake, and so on. Hope this helps! :)
disguised himself as a beggar, then shot an arrow through ax holes into the target
first of all, his NAME was odysseus. and he shot an arrow through a whole bunch of ax handles then he massacred the jerks that tried to steal his wife.
labrys
The word "hoe" is not translated as "pioch" in French. The correct translation for "hoe" is "houe" in French.
Two-bladed ax, usually called a labrys.
It would be the "A" value/term. Standard from is Ax+By=C.
(ax)(ax) = a2 + 2ax + x2
If by "xn" you mean ax^n then the answer is "a"
Double Replacement
double-replacement
A double replacement reaction.
Ax + Bx + C is not a trinomial!
an example of a three-term polynomial is: Ax2 + Bx + C. (that's Ax{squared})
The difference is in the shape of the head of the ax.
